Sābrs is a yearly festival in Riga, Latvia, dedicated to zines and small press culture. It brings together artists, independent publishers, and the public to share and explore self-published works. Named after the old Latvian word for "neighbor," Sābrs cultivates connection, exchange, and collaboration.
This year, Sābrs returns with the theme ECOSYSTEM — a look into the small press publishing community as a living, interdependent system.The main event is a market held on July 5-6, 2025, in the Āgenskalns neighborhood, where visitors can browse and buy publications directly from their creators. Entrance is free. The festival also features workshops, exhibitions, and other events in nearby spaces.Artists and publishers can apply for a table by filling out the form.
